Marilyn Phillips Johansen

     

Marilyn is an internationally recognized award-winning artist who paints original watercolor artwork. She brings her life experiences to her art, having lived from Belgium to Okinawa and places in between. Her artistic studies began at age ten. She conducts demonstrations in watercolor, judges shows and teaches acrylic and watercolor workshops. She enjoys painting in all mediums. Her fine art collections are featured in Florida museums. 

 

Marilyn is a member of local and national societies. She has signature status with the Miami Watercolor Society, Palm Beach Watercolor Society, Gold Coast Watercolor Society, Florida Watercolor Society and the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society. She has served as President of the Florida Watercolor Society and Gold Coast Watercolor Society.

Marilyn currently teaches watercolor and acrylic painting at Art Serve in Ft. Lauderdale. She also conducts one day workshops and art group demonstrations.
